Our tailors specialize in giving your clothing a new life! Whether it be a growth spurt, weight loss/gain, pregnancy, or even if you are in between sizes and still need to fit into a school uniform (Don’t worry! We leave room to grow). Look no further, we adapt our services to your body’s individual needs. We offer an array of alteration services spanning from a simple pant hem, or restyling your old flare jeans, all the way to making sure your home’s curtains are the perfect length!
In addition to traditional alterations, we offer adaptive alterations to create a more accessible wardrobe for those who need a hassle-free dressing experience: ideal for the elderly and disabled. Some examples are adding elastic band to pants/jeans/skirts, replacing buttons or zippers with Velcro, opening up back of garments, widening neck openings, etc..
We offer various hemming techniques for different scenarios: Regular, Euro, Invisible, Hand Stitch, and False Hems for lengthening. We keep over 1000 of the finest thread spools in each shop, varying in colour and thickness – to match your needs every time. Using only the finest Gutermann threads matched with a range of the latest and highest quality equipment to ensure our customers receive the best results in their alterations.
We are pleased to offer bridal and bridesmaid dress measurements, custom suit measurements, and uniform measurements. As online shopping has become more popular, we’ve added basic fit measurements for online shopping purchases. While taking your measurements at home is not impossible, you do need the right equipment and a second trustworthy person. Little tricks can make all the difference in getting the right measurements and ultimately the right fit.
Please remember to also bring in the shoes you plan to wear with your garment for the best alteration results!
